King’s gambito!
Without a doubt, my best played chess games are not the ones I’m most proud of. Rather, I revel in the swindle and savor the trickery of traps, the salience of a sacrifice, in short, “bad” moves predicated on the psychology of my opponent. In this respect, my hero is Emmanuel Lasker who played the man not the board, the swashbuckling swindler of gm’s such as tarrasch and the longest ever reigning world champion (smashing steinitz and defending the title for 27 years.1894-1921).
The following king’s gambit game is one I’m extemely proud of, and is a brilliant example of a bad queen’s sacrifice that only wins because my opponent was greedy and took it immediately.
