Stejn v. Bilek — an interesting endgame study
In the following position, it is white to move. White has a clear advantage, but how to proceed? This position is taken from sahovski informator’s “encyclopedia of chess middlegames,” which is basically just a beautiful hardbound tactics book with positions from actual games categorized according to motifs. Hint: the theme of this problem is “interception.”
I will post the answer in the comments after a few days if no one guesses it.
